1127 tons drugs seized on bulk carrier
The 'Trudy', en route from Aratu to Antwerp, was intercepted in the English Channel and taken to Dunkirk on Oct 1, 2021, by the French law enforcement agency for possible drug trafficking. During a search of the ship, 1127 kilo of cocaine were found in the cargo hold. All 20 crew members, including Russians, Ukrainians, Filipinos, Ethiopians, and the Romanian Master were arrested and taken to Paris for investigations.
