Captain navigating without charts
The master of the "Transmar" was navigating without charts when entering the port of Stralsund on May 30, 2012. During a port state control the police remarked that there were no charts of the region Rügen-Stralsund on board. The captain was advised only to leave port with appropriate charts. Not enough, the ship was also suspected to have polluted the waters off Rügen as the waste water handling was not handled according to laws.
