Russian master fell into cargo hold
In the afternoon of May 17, 2014, the Russian master of the "Nordersand" fell eight meter deep into a cargo hold during a patrol on deck. The man was very seriously injured and recovered by the fire brigade Bremerhaven and was taken to hospital. The ship was berthed at the Offshore Terminal Bremerhaven at that time. It left the port again on May 19 bound for Rotterdam. The police investigated the accident.
