Captain found intoxicated
Water Police officers found the 46-year-old Ukrainian captain of the "Grachtborg" intoxicated when the ship was entering the Kuhwerder Harbour in Hamburg in the morning of July 27, 2011, coming from Delfzijl. During the border control a water police officer smelt alcohol in the breath of the officer and also the ship's security officer. A breath test showed the Ukrainians at a value of 1.22 per thousand. The ship, howver, safely berthed, but the captain is facing prosecution.
