In the morning of Sep 9, 2019, the "Kanalen" suffered technical problems and had to be taken out of the service Thyborøn-Agger. The ship was sidelined in Thyborøn for repairs. The operator Thyborøn-Agger Færgefart did not expect the ship to be back in service on Sep 10.
