On June 13, 2014, the "Wilson Corpach" suffered an engine failure while entering the port of Papenburg. The ship managed to enter the lock with the remaining Speed where she remained two hours. After the ship was unloaded and the damage fixed, the ship was about to leave Papenburg in the night of June 14 being bound for Hamburg, when the engine suffered trouble again while passing the lock seabound.
