Medevac off Hoek van Holland
On Apr 12, 2015, at 03.30 a.m. the "Pool Express", which was off Hoek van Holland, reported that a crew member of 57 years had suffered cardia problems. The radio medical service of the KNRM advised a medevac, and the lifeboat "Jeanine Parqui" sailed at 03.45 from the Berg Port with two ambulance personnel on board. It went halongside at 04.15 ua.m. The patient was checked and prepared for the transfer on board. At 5 a.m. he was on board the lifeboat and reached the Berg Port at 05.40 a.m. for further transport to the Vlietland hospital.
