In a daring act on July 20, 2011, a group of pirates targeted the bulk carrier Diana while anchored at Huangpu Port. The incident occurred at approximately 03:30 LT, just 1 nautical mile offshore from Nansha and 20.5 nautical miles southeast of Huangpu Port in China, at the coordinates 22°45'0" N, 113°38'42" E.
