By noon, the Ozgun departed Tuzla anchorage, setting sail towards Kherson, where it will make its first port of call post-repair.

Repairs on the main engine of the vessel 'Ozgun' are currently in progress at the Tuzla shipyard, where specialized shore-based technical teams are diligently following the manufacturer's repair guidelines and reference booklet. To facilitate the repair process, the owners have secured a new set of original spare parts from the designated supplier. As of October 8, the 'Ozgun' has been stationary in the shipyard, focusing on restoring its operational capabilities.

On August 22, 2019, the tugboat 'Ozgun' encountered an engine malfunction while docked in Torre Annunziata. Unable to conduct necessary repairs on-site, the crew sought assistance, leading to the engagement of the tug 'Leopard' for towage services. Following the completion of towage approval procedures, the towage operation officially began on August 29. During its transit through the Canakkale Strait, coastal safety tugs provided essential escort services, ensuring both the safety of the vessel and the smooth flow of maritime traffic. The 'Ozgun' is scheduled to arrive at the Tuzla shipyard area by September 5.
