On November 17, 2018, the bulk carrier 'Efi Theo,' while navigating the Escravos River en route to Wari Port, Nigeria, collided with the Liberian-flagged bulk carrier 'Arvika' (IMO: 9624043). On July 22, 2015, shortly after noon, the cargo vessel EFI Theo encountered a significant main engine failure while departing Klaipeda port, en route to Las Palmas.
