The "Port Dalian", coming from Illichivsk, suffered engine trouble while transiting the Suez Canal with a Southbound convoy, at canal kilometer 146 on July 30, 2019. The crew repaired the damage, and the ship continued voyage the same day. The bulk carrier delayed the convoy by four hours. The "Port Dalian" arrived in Suez on July 31 at 2 a.m.
