Medevac off Weser
On Aug 24, 2013, a crew member of the "Alida" neaded medical treatment as he suffered from severe discomfort. As an ambulance was urgently needed, the rescue helicopter Christoph 26 took a doctor and paramedic to Minsener Oog where the two boarded the DGzRS-lifeboat "Vormann Steffens". In severe sea conditions the patient was medevaced from the cargo ship on Weser North roads and taken to Hooksiel for further transport to hospital by ambulance.
