The W-luna: Crew Feedback and Vessel Data

On December 20, 2019, the 'Presinge Trader' encountered significant main engine challenges while navigating 2.96 miles north of Stephens Island, precisely at coordinates 54°15'37.4" N, 130°46'38.2" W, around 3:40 PM. Following the engine failure, the vessel made its way to anchorage 28 located at Prince Rupert, British Columbia, under the guidance of a tug escort. Subsequently, the 'Presinge Trader' was reported as having a disabled main engine and required additional assistance. The tug 'Smit Venta' successfully towed the vessel from anchorage 28 to anchorage 8, where it was moored in Port Edward at the position 54°12'00" N, 130°22'21" W. As of December 25, the vessel remained stationary at that location, fully attended to during this period of distress.
