The "Peak Oslo" ran aground on Nov 27, 2018, at 8.50 p.m. on the Humber river in the Faxfleet area. The ship was coming from Rotterdam and proceeding upstream to Flixborough with seven people on board, including a pilot. It ran aground on a mud bank in position 53 41 55 N, 000 41 33 W in the confluence of the River Trent and Humber, within AB port Humber jurisdiction. The vessel was carrying 2097 tonnes of cinder balls in bulk as cargo and was holding 51,6 tonnes of marine gas oil. AB Ports Humber have organised a tug for towing operations. The Humber Coastguard was monitoring the situation via Humber Vessel Traffic Service (VTS). The ship was moored at Lowestoft as of Dec 10.
