The vessel, which recently underwent dry docking in February 2021, has been acquired by Turkish buyers for a total of USD 6.9 million. On June 16, 2014, emergency responders were dispatched to the Port of Los Angeles to assist a worker who fell into the cargo hold of the cargo ship 'Navios Vector' during unloading operations. The incident occurred around 11:45 a.m. at Berth 209, where the 57-year-old individual fell into a deep hold measuring over 20 feet. Fortunately, the area was cluttered with 60-foot-long steel pipes that were securely fastened, ensuring the worker was not trapped beneath them. Despite the fortunate circumstances, the man sustained injuries to his back and legs. Approximately 60 firefighters from the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) worked tirelessly for about two hours to retrieve the injured worker. He was subsequently transported to a local hospital for medical attention.
