Second auction to sell off vessel in Cape Town
kThe 'Ekarma' will go back under the hammer after she was subject of a failed auction attempt. The auctioneer Solution Strategists hoped that a second vessel auction will raise more interest as South Africa eased restrictions on crew changes. The ship has remained berthed at the Cape Town Container Terminal since June 10, 2020.

The 'Ekarma' which was arrested by local court on March 16, 2020, will be sold at auction by local judicial sale office at Cape Town on Aug 13. The vessel remained stationary at Cape Town inner harbour for the time being.
