Talnakh leaves yard at Wismar after conversion and fiiting of two new cranes
The Arctic Ocean Freighter "Talnakh" on Friday (July 27, 2012) left the shipyard in Wismar. She was the second last unit of a series of four units for the Russian mining company Norilsk Nickel, which were converted at Nordic yards. The ships of the line are specialized in the year-round use in Arctic waters and designed for temperatures down to minus 50 degrees. The freighter received among other things, an additional port diesel generator and two 40-ton deck cranes.
