In a commendable operation spanning four days from February 9 to February 12, 2026, the Primorsky branch of the Marine Rescue Service successfully aided the bulk carrier Tai Ze Xing 319, which experienced a loss of propulsion while navigating the Sea of Japan (Latitude 40.7767, Longitude 131.1817). The vessel, which was on its way from Nakhodka and unable to maintain movement under its own power, required immediate assistance in international waters. Responding swiftly, the salvage tug Lazurit was dispatched to the location, securing the stranded vessel and initiating towing operations. The dedicated crew worked meticulously to tow the Tai Ze Xing 319 safely back to port, where it arrived off Vladivostok on February 12.
