On July 19, 2010, at 4.20 p.m. the "Riroil 4" while avoiding an incoming vessel in the Don Sea Channel near the buoys 43-41 area, ran aground on the channel’s border due to strong wind gust, the draft loss was 0,3 metres, no spill. The tug "Pal-4" was dispatched to assist, attempts to refloat the vessel during night time failed, the vessel is still aground.
