Engine failure in Bosphorus
On Aug 17, 2022, the 'Sun Unicorn', enroute from Istanbul to Novorossyisk, suffered an engine failure at the Black Sea exit of the Bosphorus. The General Directorate of Coastal Safety deployed the tug 'Kurtarma-7' to assist. Allision in Azov port
On Nov 19, 2015, at 2.55 a.m. the "Alnilam" allided with the docked "Sun Unicorn" while maneuvering in Azov port. The ship had come from Samsun before and was bound for Famagusta now. No leak reported, the extent of damage was unknown. The "Alnilam" dropped anchore in the Don. The "Sun Unicorn" had arrived from Istanbul on Nov 18 at 8.45 a.m.
