The 'Suffolk Chieftain' sent out a false alert due to system failure on board, 20 miles northeast of Unst, Shetland, in position 61 04 48N, 000 24 06W,on Nov 16, 2019, at noon. The crew confirmed to the Shetland Coastguard that all was well on board and their Inmarsat alert was due to system failure and they did not require any Coastguard assistance.
