Medevac off Galveston
The US Coast Guard medevaced a crew member from the 'Stolt Surf' 14 miles off Galveston, Texas, in the morning of Nov 18, 2019. Coast Guard Sector Houston-Galveston watchstanders received a call from a crewmember aboard the vessel requesting a medevac for a 36-year-old male experiencing chest and abdominal pain. A Coast Guard Station Galveston 45-foot boat arrived on scene and transferred the crewmember to awaiting emergency medical services personnel at Station Galveston. The mariner was reported to be in stable condition.
