Nautical Bulk has successfully finalized the sale of their Supramax bulk carrier, the Nautical Amethyst, a vessel built in 2011 at Jiangsu Hantong, China. This transaction, which took place with buyers from the Far East, was completed for a notable price of USD 10.4 million. The Nautical Amethyst, which underwent dry docking in March 2021, showcases Nautical Bulk's strategic moves in the competitive maritime market.

In a significant maritime transaction, Transportation Recovery Fund (TRF), associated with investor Wilbur Ross, has secured the purchase of two sister ships from Conti Holding. Industry reports indicate that the vessels involved in the deal include the mv Nautical Amethyst, formerly known as mv Amethyst, which was sold at a price nearing USD 9.4 million. This vessel was previously sold in December 2016. The second vessel, mv Aventurin, a 56,000 dwt ship built in 2012 at Hantong, was acquired for approximately USD 11.8 million. Notably, the existing management team will continue to oversee the operation of these vessels even after the sale.
