Far Spica handed over to Farstad
On Feb 9, 2013, the newest vessel of Farstad's fleet christened "Far Spica" in Ålesund. The ship is an oil rig supply vessel of STX PSV 08 CD design, delivered from STX OSV Langsten in Tomrefjord. Farstad Shipping took delivery of it on Jan 31 and has a permanent contract with Statoil in connection with the company's drilling operations off East Africa.
