On Apr 7, 2010, at 10.30 p.m. the Turkish cargo vessel "Ocak" near the northern entrance of the Istanbul Strait was in collision with the "Sormovskiy 122". Both vessels were damaged, their sides dented, cracked and holed. Thevessels anchored for investigation and inspection. The "Sormovskiy 122" was enroute from Azov sea port, Russia, with 3,100 mt cargo on board.
