On January 29, 2019, the bulk carrier 'Silver Gertrude', which had recently departed from Las Palmas, experienced an unfortunate incident near the Dutch coast. While en route to Rotterdam, the vessel lost its portside anchor along with 9.5 shackles at coordinates 51°54'54'' N, 003°34'36'' E.
