The MRCC of Salvamento Marítimo in Tarifa has coordinated the medical evacuation of a crew member of the 'Sierra Lara', en rute from Gibraltar to Odessa, 30 nautical miles west of Gibraltar on Oct 6, 2021. The SAR helicopter Helimer 202 hoisted the man and took him to the Jerez airport where an ambulance was waiting to take him to the Jerez Hospital .
