Tanker impounded in Jizan
The Saudi-led coalition banned the Yemen-bound 'Princess Halima', carrying a cargo of fuel, from docking at Hudaydah port. Essam al-Mutawakel, a spokesman for Yemen Petroleum Company (YPC), said in a tweet on Sep 5, 2022, that it had seized the ship despite securing UN clearance, and forced the vessel to sail towards Jizan Port and impounded it there. The latest incident brings to ten the number of fuel ships impounded by the coalition.
