Medevac off Falmouth
On Feb 8, 2020, the RNLI boat from Falmouth, the 'Volunteer Spirit' was tasked to launchfor a person in need of medical attention aboard the 'Seaturbot'. Leaving the station berth at 2.10 p.m., the lifeboat reached the tanker at 2.30 p.m., approximately six miles from the harbour. The crew assisted the patient from the tanker and aboard the lifeboat and returned to the station in Force 7 conditions. Once back at the lifeboat station, the casualty was transferred ashore to onward further medical attention.
