Following a recent Port State Control inspection at the port of Zhangjiagang, the vessel was found to have a staggering 18 deficiencies. Of these, six were categorized as serious enough to warrant detention. After arriving from Nantong, the ship has been anchored at Zhangjiagang since April 16, 2026, and remains stationary as of April 23. This latest detention adds to a troubling history for the vessel. Previously, the 'Sea Diamond 1' was held for three days on September 22, 2025, in Garrucha, where inspectors identified 13 deficiencies. Earlier, on November 18, 2024, it was also detained in Novorossiysk for three days due to nine deficiencies. These repeated issues highlight ongoing concerns regarding the vessel's compliance with maritime safety regulations.
