Drunken captain at the helm
On Mar 31, 2015, at 9.55 a.m. the "Rix River" was subject to a control of the water police Brunsbüttel. The captain was found to be drunk with an alcohol level of 1,43 milliliters and was withdrawn from the helm. A blood sample was taken, and he had to pay a safety fine in the amount of a monthly salary. The ship continued its voyage from Nakskowv to Hamburg around 11 a.m.
