Medevac at Rouen
On Dec 27, 2017, around 12:40 p.m. the CROSS Jobourg was alerted after one crew member of the "Rekon" had injured his leg. The vessel was located in the port area of ​​Rouen. After a teleconference with the Maritime Medical Advisory Center of Toulouse and the Maritime Medical Coordination SAMU in Le Havre, a medevac was recommended. Due to the particularly difficult weather conditions, the CROSS deployed a Cayman helicopter of the Naval Base at Maupertus with a team of the Medical Center of the Armies in Querqueville on board. At 3 p.m. the man was hoisted aboard the Cayman and transported to the Théodore Monod hospital in Le Havre.
