Sadly, the young girl succumbed to hypothermia shortly after noon. In an encouraging twist, the Swedish-flagged yacht 'Missy 32', with a crew of two, managed to regain control of their distress situation and refused external assistance, opting to continue their voyage. All vessels in the vicinity had issued distress signals amid the perilous weather conditions. This operation underscores the resilience and dedication of maritime rescue teams amidst adversity.
