On September 9, 2019, at 03:10 a.m., the ocean liner 'Bungo Princess' faced a harrowing incident while anchored in Yokohama as it was struck by a powerful typhoon. The vessel, caught in the tempest, dragged its anchor and collided with a harbour road bridge. As of now, the extent of the damage to the hull remains unreported. Fortunately, the crew successfully regained control, and the ship was able to navigate under its own power, eventually dropping anchor once again off the coast of Yokohama until the storm calmed down.
