(Reuters) – The UK-flagged supertanker, Pacific Voyager, which paused its journey in the Gulf on Saturday, has been confirmed as "safe and well" by a British official, following Iranian threats regarding its status. This assurance comes after Iran’s Revolutionary Guards dismissed allegations of seizing the vessel. Earlier on Friday, a commander from the Revolutionary Guards warned of a potential seizure of a British ship in retaliation for the Royal Marines' capture of the Iranian supertanker Grace 1 in Gibraltar. The Pacific Voyager temporarily halted its voyage while en route from Singapore to Saudi Arabia, according to Refinitiv Eikon mapping.
