Allision in Jeddah
The 'Pacific Victor', coming from Aqaba, allided with its bulbous bow with the pier of the DP World Jeddah Container Terminal whilst berthing in the port of Jeddah on Nov 19, 2020, at 12.35 p.m. The bulbous bow and the pier blocks were damaged. The water tightness integrity of the bulbous bow was not affected, but structural damages to frames and stiffeners were found. The damages to the pier blocks were being investigated. The ship remained stationary as of Nov 26.
