The 'OOCL Asia', while en route from Le Havre to New York, suffere a blackout due to a generator failure caused by a blocked fuel filter in position 49 32 37.8 N, 004 42 10.2 W 32 miles South South-East of Lizard Point on Nov 11, 2019, at 03.30 a.m. The crew rectified the defect and the vessel continued on its voyage with no assistance required around 4 a.m.
