Allision in Kiel Canal
On Nov 4, 2018, at 8.05 p.m. the "Vectis Isle", enroute from Sorel to Oxelösund, allided with some wooden pilings during the transit of the Kiel Canal. The ship was manoevering in the diverge dodge at Kudensee when it hit the old pilings on the north side of the waterway. One of the pilings was pushed aside. The ship suffered undamgaged and was allowed to continue the eastbound transit with an ETA in Oxelösund as of Nov 6.
