Advantages:
The OLYMPIC TAURUS 4.6 is a remarkable vessel that embodies the high standards associated with the Norwegian flag. It is impeccably clean, and offers excellent facilities including a well-equipped gym. The quality of food and accommodation is also outstanding, making for a comfortable onboard experience.
Disadvantages:
A notable drawback is that the welfare WiFi is significantly slower compared to that of other similar vessels, which may impact connectivity for crew members.

Master fined for violation of Marpol regulations
On Jan 29, 2020, a PSC was carried out aboard the 'Olympic Taurus' during which a violation of Marpol regulations of Appendix V was found in the port of Emden. The waste treatment plan on board did not meet the requirements. Information on the storage locations of the individual waste categories and storage capacities was missing. A security deposit has been ordered by the responsible Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency against the master. The water police Emden has initiated an administrative offense procedure. The vessel was released and sailed again on Feb 4 at noon, headed towards Moerdijk where it berthed on Feb 5 around noon.
