Maersk Oil hires platform supply vessel (PSV) Havila Fortune
Havila said on June 29 that Maersk chartered the Havila Fortune PSV for 60 days firm plus d/d 30. The company added that the work scope would include Ampelman’s walk to work solution which would be operated from onboard the Havila Fortune. The vessel will be taken out of layup for the duration of the deal enabling the company to support Maersk through this operation. The 2008-built platform supplier was put into layup late last year as a consequence of the market conditions.
