In a recent maritime incident, the cargo vessel NYK Rigel reported the loss of an empty 40-foot container while navigating through challenging weather off Scheveningen. The mishap took place on January 18, 2018, at 2:34 PM in coordinates 52°18'05"N, 003°32'09"E, approximately 27 nautical miles northwest of Hook of Holland.
