Woman fell two meters deep

During cleaning works aboard the "Nordlicht" a woman fall two meters deep into a hold at the Borkum Quay in Emden in the afternoon of Apr 4, 2015, around 4 p.m. Fire rescue and rescue Services were soon on scene to recover the victim and medically treat her. The "Nordlicht" had to be taken out of its service between Emden and Borkum from Aug 2, 2010, until Aug 6 following a technical malfunction and was replaced by the car ferry "Groningerland" in the meantime. It was repaired in Emden during this time.
