Celebration Faces Technical Setback in English Channel

On June 30, 2018, at approximately 9:30 p.m., the vessel 'Celebration', carrying a crew of 15, encountered technical issues related to overheating cylinder heads. This incident occurred at coordinates 050 02.317 N, 003 26.483 W, roughly 22 miles south of Brixham. At the time, the ship was loaded with a substantial cargo, including 9,122 tonnes of sugar, 148.8 metric tonnes of fuel oil, 40 metric tonnes of diesel oil, and 4 metric tonnes of lube oil. Fortunately, the crew successfully addressed the defect, and by 11 p.m., after conducting tests, the 'Celebration' was back on course. The ship, which was traveling from Rouen to Khoms, is now expected to arrive in Libya by July 8 at 6 p.m.
