Tug towed raised wreck to Rotterdam
On July 9, 2013, the ""Multratug 18" towed the "Smitbarge 7" with the wreck of the "Jan Breydel", 199 gt (IMO: 7910808) to Rotterdam. The Dutch authorities have decided to clear various wrecks which are hazardous to navigation. The trawler was one of them. In 1985, it sank after a collision with the Philippine flagged “Arabian Express” in position 51°53”N en 02°35”E.
