Marijuana attached to bow thruster

The Portuguese Police on Sep 6, 2011, seized a metal box attached to the hull of the "CMA CGM Auindao" with about 56 pounds of marijuana. The commander had noted that the vessel had a box attached to the vessel during cargo operations at Santos being bound for Porto de Itajaí. The Federal Police monitored the vessel. Later the police arranged the removal of the box to and it was found that it contained marijuana. The drugs were sent to the Police Headquarters at Itajaí, where a police investigation was initiated.
