Container ship new building suffered steering failure
The "MSC Channe" suffered steering failure during sea trials in the East China Sea, 125 nm east of Zhoushan Island, on Oct 17, 2015. A salvage tug was dispatched to assist the vessel. The ship was taken on tow and in 17 hours reached an anchorage south of Shanghai. There were 82 people on board, crew and yard personnel.
