Trawler towed to Sotra
On the night of Jan 6, 2025, the 'Monsun', which had set off from Egersund on Jan 3, had its propeller broken off Bergen and requested assistance, while being disabled in rough seas. The ship was taken under tow by another vessel at 11 p.m.. When the convoy had come within 12 miles of the coast, the tow transferred onto the lifeboat "Kristian Gerhard Jebsen 2" (MMSI: 258144000), which was deployed from the NSSR station Bergen.
