The vessel was detained in Liverpool because there were a number of deficiencies which were objective evidence of a serious failure or lack of effectiveness of implementation of the ISM code on board the vessel. Annual surveys had not been carried out for International Air Pollution Prevention, International Oil Pollution Prevention, Load Line, Cargo Ship Safety Construction, Cargo Ship Safety Equipment and Annual Class Survey. Other deficiencies included the bowthruster ventilation pipe was corroded through in several sections; the Civil Liability for Bunker Pollution Certificate was missing and the rescue boat searchlight was not approved. The vessel was still detained at 31 May. Released from detention early June 2012.
