The Mercator: Crew Feedback and Vessel Data

A fatal work accident happened aboard the "Mercator" at Holmen in Drammen on Nov 12, 2018, at 11.45 a.m. A Philippino who worked with a wheel loader in a cargo hold while gravel was loaded. The loader fell, and the man was lying between the drawer and the front wheel. He was flown to hospital with air ambulance after the accident. He then was unconscious, but alive. He died at Drammen Hospital at 1.30 p.m. The Labour Inspectorate has been routinely notified and the police was conducting technical investigations and interrogating witnesses to try to clarify the course of accident.
