Engine trouble off Çanakkale
The "Med Denizili" suffered engine failure on Sep 12, 2018, 9 p.m. off Çanakkale, while transiting the Dardanelles in western direction, en route from Tekirdağ to İzmir. The ship started to drift and got tug assistance. It resumed sailing after the crew fixed the engine trouble around 10 p.m. The ship berthed at the TCDD Izmir Container Terminal in Izmir on Sep 14 at 4.30 a.m.
